The Armor of Fearlessness is a universal Buddhist contemplation on the transcendent virtues that lead to enlightenment. Understanding the virtues as emotions, aspects of character, and as expressions of our life-force, we can study, practice, and embody them in our life fully. This book provides a contemplation practice on the virtues, commentary on the contemplation, and suggestions for practicing the virtues in our everyday life. By engaging the transcendent virtues repeatedly, we overcome the small mind of ego and find true peace. The layering of the paramitas, when fully embodied, not only frees us from the cycle of suffering in which we have been trapped, but also unveils the natural state of health: the authentic presence of fearlessness.
