Deserted on her wedding night by her husband Nicholas, a spy in the service of the Crown, Sarah, Lady Weston, has found new happiness as a professional wedding designer, but her contentment is thrown... This description may be from another edition of this product.
Dawson takes a spoiled Texas girl on a journey of ten years and three thousand miles to find love and maturity with her man. These people are real and funny, and I especially loved Nicholas struggling to deal with his sisters getting married while his wife is finagling for an annulment. The Bad Luck Wedding Night is a great addition to the Bad Luck Series, and my new favorite!
No bad luck in sight for this wonderful author!

Geralyn Dawson scores another win with her new novel, The Bad Luck Wedding Night, the latest in the Bad Luck series. This delightful story centers around Sarah Simpson and Nick Ross, and the journey they make from becoming man and wife to actually becoming "man and wife!" Dawson's wonderful sense of romance and humor shines in this story, and she brings back beloved characters from her previous stories to join in the fun. I love the way her Texas ladies interact with their English men, conquering them each and every time. Make sure to put this one in your to-be-read pile, up near the top! You'll be glad you did.
TERRIFIC, WITTY READ

I have read all of Ms. Dawson's books. "The Bad Luck Wedding Night" is now my ABSOLUTE favorite! If I am in need of a rollicking, witty, fun filled romance, with an iron-willed Lord and a strong-willed Lady(young & spoiled at the time of the marriage), both as stubborn as they can be, neither willing to compromise, then I pull this book from my stack and enjoy the ride! They have been apart for ten years, and if anything, the years have made them more determined to each have their own way. Our handsome Lord blackmails his wife into coming to Scotland. He needs a wife, she wants a divorce. Watch the fireworks ignite. Along the way we meet a wonderful cast of secondary characters. This book is Ms Dawson at her best. I highly recommend this book. It won't disappoint you.
Great book, funny and sweet

this was another wonderful book by Geralyn Dawson, as always she writes with humor and wit. The two main carachters Sara and Nick are great. Instead of instead attraction, these two build a realtionship over ten years through letters. They know they care about each other but have obstecles in their way, not other people, or misunderstandings, but the decision on where to live, and other practical issues. Also a nice touch is how the aurthor includes characters from her other books in this one.
Great Story

Just like the back cover copy says, this one is truly something wonderful! I couldn't put the book down. The characters sparkle from beginning to end. Nick is honorable and intelligent with a yummy touch of wicked thrown in. I love the letters he writes in the Pillow Book to seduce Sarah. Ms. Dawson's sense of humor shines in this story. THE BAD LUCK WEDDING NIGHT is a keeper!
