We love The Bear Hug!

What a sweet book. Our daughters particularly love reading about Cubby and Grandpa's fun at the swimming hole and the doughnut store. They somehow claim that Grandpa's "winter hibernation" on the couch reminds them of someone they know. And they love the illustrations -- not just cuddly Cubby but also the kittens, flowers, frogs, and butterflies. Bravo!

If you have a child or a grandchild you simply must get this book. Warm, loving and intensely re-readable. A very nice gift. Small children love it.

I adore this book, from the charming story line to the rich illustrations. My kids are drawn particularly to the interactive component of the story: they act out the parts, from the growling to the snoozing to...the bear hug. A perfect gift for grandparents and kids alike!
