The elbow test draws you into the book. I like that the authors makes a statement that they are not trying to push anything "that haven't been thoroughly tested" p12. This book talks about everything i.e. anti-aging creams, exfoliation, scar prevention for nicks and cuts, and skin cancer. There are topics for men too which is rare in topics discussing skin. Additionally, on p76 Parabens is mentioned in regards to reading the labels, but I was unclear of the authors' opinion if it is good for your face or not. I just noticed that more and more products are purposely mentioning "parabens-free" on their labels. This book was copyrighted in 2007 and IMO that it is a missed opportunity that parabens was mentioned briefly in this book. Overall, it has been a year since I read he book and I used a few ideas which has changed the way my skin feels since the first time I took the elbow test.
