This books is not for beginners. The recipes seem to be so-so and the instructions are extremely poor and highly inadequate. I tried to make the Snow Chocolate Fudge that required confectioner's sugar, chocolate syrup, butter, nonfat dry milk, and nuts. I used the best chocolate syrup and pecan nuts. I spent a lot for every ingredient in this recipe and it came out a flop. I have noticed others, who have lots of experience, have had the same problem--flops. I just got rid of this book and I do not recommend this book at this time because it is no fun wasting a lot of money and time to make a recipe and then it flops because of no fault of your own!!!!!
