I read this book in a weekend, mostly on a round-trip plane ride. It was captivating... the characters were real and easy to relate to. They dealt with their issues and resolved them in ways that the reader can identify with. This is going to be one of those trilogies which is unbearable to wait for the next one to arrive at my doorstep! The spiritual and secular issues raised are noteworthy by how the author deals with them. The major characters confront each other and are honest and grow throughout the story.
