This is a great little short story written in rhyme. Seems Santa is a little down in the dumps. He feels as if everyone has forgotten the true meaning of Christmas. With a big stack of letters in front of him, everyone of them asking for a gift, Santa is sure the true joy of giving is lost. The elves want to cheer Santa up but they are running out of ideas and they are running out of time, It is Christmas eve and they are all out of answers. Luckily the head elf is able to point out a part of the letters that Santa is over looking and thanks to true innocence and goodness of children Christmas is saved. This is a great little story not only for your children but also for you as a parent. To often we are consumed with what is; or what we think, is wrong in our lives; we over look what is right. This little story helps us realize that basic human nature is good. Most or us are caring people and we instill that in our children to be passed down from generation to generation. Just take the time this holiday season look for the blessings around you. They may be hard to see but they are there none -the-less. Most of all remember there is and always will be more good in the world than there is bad.
