owned and used ocasionally for thirty years specifically for racing ,some of the hardware articles dont pertain to newer boats but you cant buy speed cheaper than this,the writers,which are many are all expert sail makers or nationally known sailors,i highlighted the best paragraphs a gem!

The book is a compilation of articles written for SAIL magazine. The editors took the best articles and made them available in this book. Each chapter deals with a different subject, e.g., mail sail and head sail trimming, tactics etc. The authors are names that you will recognize. This the best of the books I have read for the person who wants to get that last little bit of speed from their boat. It is a must read for the person getting into racing. Love it so much that my sailing buddies got this for Christmas from me.
