I am the piano for a senior choir at a local church. i've used this book several times. There are many songs in this book that are not in traditional hymn books. The selections are nice additions to our morning worship services.

This is a great compilation of a lot of well-known and some not-so-well-known Gospel tunes. I bought this as a gift for my brother and sister-in-law after they had seen my own personal copy and loved it! I'm looking forward to hearing them play and sing these songs, too~!

some aids for use, like an index of themes and/or scriptural allusions. Suggested organ registrations would have been nice. The settings are of moderate difficulty and the notation mostly easy to read.
