Marcus Jordan was a man running out of time.
He loved his job as principal of the high school, but there were so many things to over see and do that he felt stretched to his limit. And then there was the chapel. The ward he was Bishop over met in a 130 year old building that while charming, was rapidly becoming a hazard to meet in. They needed to either remodel it or tear it down and build a new one. His congregation didn't want to tear it down, and he was caught between what was sensible and what was needed.
