The perspective of the black male is essential to understanding and changing the negative stigma associated with their existence. Their shared experiences shed light on the perceptions others have of them and how they cope, overcome, and conquer the challenges. Exposing various trials black fathers face in America will provide insight for future generations to make informed decisions, despite the injustices happening in our society. The raw emotions uncovered in this work offer a deeper look into the effects of fatherlessness on the next generation, the quest to reverse generational curses, and the importance of leaving a legacy of love, faith, and unity.
