Maris' summer job as an au pair in England starts out well. But when she discovers the truth about her employer, the truth about his transformations and his plans for her, Maris must make the most... This description may be from another edition of this product.
I absolutly loved this book! I could not put it down. It was a bit gory but not sickning gory. It was very discriptive (in a good way) and held your intrest. Not like any other horror book I have read. Very unique. I would suggest this to the mind that don't doesn't was a sex involved vampire/wolf book and can handel a mind captivating story. Can I say any more? Read it it's really good!

I enjoyed reading the book and it was very interesting how everything came out in the end. I gave the book four stars because it was probably one of the best books that I have ever read.I liked how Maris dealt with everything and how determined she was not to leave England. I couldn't put this book down because I wanted to see what else was going to happen. The suspense never stopped and that's one of the things that made me more interested in the book. I hope to see a second part to this story because it interested me very much.
Chocolate, candy, sweets . . . and blood?

The Blooding is a terrific book. It has so much power in it. I could not put it down. The story is about a girl who becomes an au pair for a couple in England. Everything is going great, she loves the children and their mother . . . but their father is another story. Strange things start to happen. Soon our main character is trapped forever in a maze of pain and loneliness.
This was a pretty good book

I liked "The Blooding" as it was a bit more subtle and creepier then "Blood and Chocolate" which it sometimes gets compared to. It is not a very fast paced book but it still a good read. I suppose the bottom line is what sort of werewolf story you prefer.
I wan't a sequel as well.

No matter what has been said in some of the reviews, this book is far from a disapointment. I would recomend it to anyone.
