This book is very comprehensive of the samurai history, gives much details and covers all aspects of the samurai way of life. For any samurai aficionado, a must have.

The book was very informative. It told readers about everything from the way the samurai dressed to how they made their tea. In addition to the history of Japan during their rule, they also went into great detail about there weapons and armor, the way they fought, and the techniques used to in combat.In addition, the book was filled with great pictures. Maps of the changing territories. Old Japanese art work. Even rare photographs of the Samurai in full battle gear. They did just compliment the reading, they offered even more information in the captions that wasn't even mentioned in the reading.All-in-all, this was a good read.
