The Busy Manager's Guide To Employee Relations Excellence I found the key word in the name of this book to be "busy", because this kind of manager is to whom this book is directed. Although this book covers about any situation a manager could encounter in dealing with employees, it does not take many hours to read. This entire book can be read in a short time or it can be used for referencing specific problems instantly. It is down to earth and easy to read. It gets to the point. This book is the real thing in the real world that concentrates on solutions, not case studies. Also interspersed in the book are excellent references to other sources of information. This is a book that I will always keep handy. Gene Arnold, Director Small Business Development Center Lamar University

I was alittle skeptical at first because of the length of the book, but it was the best! Mr. Spence got right to the point. He gave great examples and solutions. I keep this book in my office and refer to it over and over. I hope he continues to write more on the subject. Handling employee relations is always something every manager should know how to do. This book has been very informative for me. Keep on writing!!
