Billy Rowland is working in his fathers blacksmith shop, his father would not pay him his worth, Billy has been venturing out into the wilderness on his free time. When returning he tells his mother about the adventures he is having, she is getting sicker as the weeks and months pass, she has told Billy about her life and lack of options but she did have a good life and a great son. After she passes Billy sets his mind to finding his dream and living it. Billy's father tries to keep Billy working in the forge but his mind is set. When heading northwest he has problems with the Seneca Indians and has to kill one to stay alive. Little did he know but he had been being watched by a Delaware Indian who also was shadowing the Seneca Indians. Billy saves two Delaware Indian women who the Seneca's had captured, this leads him to the village to find his Indian Wife and helps the Delaware Indians to stop the Seneca's and send them packing back to their home hunting grounds. Billy then starts back on his adventure to find his little spot of heaven. This spot is THE CABIN UNDER FLAT IRON POINT.
