This book in no longer published? Why? A wonderful historical fiction trying to give us a little about the possible boyhood of The Master. It is an interesting short read and well worth it. The Gospel of The Savior is included in its pages as well. The story that goes along with it- dealing with the scrolls written by Mary of Magdala and their translation by Jewish Professor and his American students is great also.Get this book. Then quickly buy the second book, It is just as wonderful, even more so.Book three?? I will be contacting the authors to see about it. It is not yet published anywhere.Five stars Plus
The Carpenter's Son

During that unique time period when the Christ was alive and 'about his father's business' here in mortality, little is known of his teenage years. What happened to the Savior of the world during those awkward weeks and months of his youth? The Carpenter's Son, by the gifted authors, Brenton Yorgason and Richard Myers, details a most interesting narrative on what may very well have been some of the experiences of this youthful ambassador from the heavens. The book, though fictional, provided a spiritual experience that lifted my very soul while I contemplated not only what the Christ was all about but 'who' He was! To the authors of this moving tale, I salute you. Your work was inspired, and deserves the attention of every Christian or believer in the Lord of the heavens and the earth. Great job Mr. Yorgason and Mr. Myers!

Yorgason has done it again, proving once again that he is one of the best Mormon authors out there! The main reason I like this book is that it is so thought-provoking. It made me think about things I've never thougt about before. It gives you a look at Jesus was really like, not just what he did, but how he handled life. This book is amazing! I reccomend this book to Mormons and non-Mormons alike!
