Delicious recipes inspired by the bestselling Cat Who... mysteries! Moose County-home of the New York Timesbestselling mysteries by Lilian Jackson Braun-has hosted many a reunion, where such colorful clans as the Goodwinters, the Cuttlebrinks, and the Inchpots gathered to share memories and mouthwatering meals. With the easy-to-prepare recipes in this charming cookbook, readers' reunions can be just as special-whether they're with families, friends, or fellow Cat Who... fans. Warm everyone's heart with Koko's Cocoa-or set off fireworks on the Fourth with a bowl of Patriotic Punch. Grill up some of Andy's Sausage Burgers, put out a platter of Polly's Carrot-Raisin Salad, and sweeten the day with Grandma Gage's Washboard Cookies. Readers will find these recipes and many more in this appetizing all-new volume.
After countless years with The Cat Who series and the first cookbook, The Reunion Cookbook was a wonderful second helping. For years it's like I've known the Moose County residents, and now I get to be a part of their reunions. A wonderful gift for any Cat Who fan.

In addition to the recipes, the reader is treated to snippets of dialogue along the way. I like the idea of identifying the volume in which the recipe appears. It helps me remember some of the action of the particular story. I've got my volume tagged with lots of "try this" notations. "Melinda's Minties" disappeared quickly when I took a batch to work...and it really wasn't put together the way the directions were given. I've got a couple of cookie recipes waiting in the wings that I might use for cookie exchanges. One of them employs potato chips! This is a neat book to have, particularly if you like the Koko and YumYum books.

When asked if the K-Fund will be willing to publish a cook book based on meals served at family reunions, Quilleran tells Mildred Riker, Food Editor of the Moose County Something that he will be he the foot taster and will publish the book. The most beloved families in Moose County submit invitations and recipes to the cause. The recipes are easy to follow and taste delicious ranging from beverages & bread to salads and side orders. Meat dishes are popular at every family reunion and the desserts are so delicious readers will want to try the recipe of each one. Readers will find this cookbook one of the better ones based on a fictional series on the market. Harriet Klausner
