HO, HO, HO Celebrate Christmas with Cheerios Children can place their own Cheerios or Frosted Cheerios in the recessed spaces to decorate a tree, put noses in Santa's reindeer, and complete other... This description may be from another edition of this product.
ISBN 068984008x - There are a bunch of similar books out there, featuring various cereals, raisins, and candies. I really do like them all, but I love this one best of all. Each set of facing pages has a large image that covers both pages. Next to those images is text that explains what's missing and asks for your help in filling the missing spots. Cheerios are used to fill in for pom-poms on elves shoes, tree ornaments and more. Oh. My. Gosh. Really!? Play with your food? And Mom says it's cool? All right! Cheerios, among the most common and popular finger foods for toddlers, make great "toys" in this case. If it gets your child into books, and gets them eating Cheerios (generally accepted as a healthy snack), you've gotten more than your money out of this one. The pages are very thick, sturdy board book pages and will stand up to a lot of abuse. They're all glossy, which makes them easy to wipe clean except for one thing. The spots where the missing Cheerios go are recessed on the pages and are NOT glossy, so getting them wet will damage them. This is one you really ought to pick up! - AnnaLovesBooks
What a fun book

I have given different "Cheerios" books to all of my grand children and we have all enjoyed them ! And using Cheerios as a 'prop' makes it fun for them while they are learning! I highly recommend any of the Cheerios books! They are a great way to spend time with your little ones!

My 1 year old grandson picked this book out at the library (by chance) but thoroughly enjoyed it. Sitting in his high chair, munching on his cheerios (a favorite finger food), he loved putting his cheerios in the little open circles. He also laughed when he tried to pick up the book's cheerios (pictures). I don't think his interest will last long, but it was definitely fun for him. I think it would make a very nice present for the 1 to 2 year old set!
great gift

Not something i would spend my $$ on for my own child. I think it is over priced. I would buy it for a gift though. As a parent i think it is a book that is also a toy.
