One of the best children's books ever written

In my opinion, classical poetry is sorely neglected in the education of young people. It contains so much imaginative imagery that it is a natural for developing young minds. With this book, it would be an easy problem to correct. The works of many of the great storytellers are included. Among others, there are pieces from Melville, Tennyson, Byron, Blake, Stevenson, Browning, Longfellow and Walter Scott. This is one of the best books for children ever published, with colorful diagrams it can provide hours of literary joy for children of all ages.

This is a lovely collection of poems for children. They have picked some classics while keeping them fun. The illustrations are some of my favorite. They are so creative and colorful. Very imaginative for little ones and grown ups alike:)

I read this book and it is the most brilliant, inspiring book I've ever read. It has funny poems, along with serious ones, which makes a good combination. If anyone out there wants to be a poet, I suggest they read that!
