Deserving of the "Classic" Label

The key that is the secret being shared in this book is to trust and obey God. She goes into detail describing how she and others have learned and applied the principle of casting their cares on Jesus--the Burden-bearer. In talking about an acquaintance, Laura, she writes, "Believing that He (Jesus) took full responsibility for that which she had committed to Him, she ceased to fret and worry." Since God's gifts are freely given, a person must have a receptive attitude she explains. In exploring the idea of joy, she writes, "Heaven is a place of bliss, because it is where His will is perfectly done in us. He loves us--loves us--and the will of love is always blessing for its loved one. Her teaching on Philippians 2:13 is insightful. In talking about God inspiring the "will and the deed for His purpose" some gems of wisdom surface. The importance of faith and the distructive power of doubt are described at length. This is an inspirational, instructive, practical book.
