This is a cute story. Somewhat reminiscent of Corduroy. But I am a sucker for a bear in a toy store.

A polar bear is put on the top shelf where the unpopular toys are stocked. He watches his friends get homes, and is purchased by a lady whose child doesn’t like him. So, he is returned to the store. He really wants a home before Christmas, and is sad on the shelf alone. A couple comes in and buys him for their niece. He worries he will be unwanted as he waits to be opened, but it is a happy Christmas for him in the end.
