Wow! I stumbled upon this book several years ago and knew immediately that it was a keeper. The information is fascinating, and the photographs are simply amazing and extremely easy to view once you learn the basics of the viewer. This is one of the most amazing books I have ever read. Not only does it give you the history of the photograph but also a large amount of photographs of the Civil War. View common Civil War photos in a whole new way and also some never published pictures.
