The compact bible dictionary is a great book to keep handy when you need to look up someone or something, or perhaps just want more detail on a specific topic. It will add to your understanding of many of the items in the Bible.

This book helps explain so many of the phrases, terms, locations, items, etc. in the bible. It is enjoyable to just thumb through it and stop on a word, and say " ghee, I didn't know that" I highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in the bible.

I purchased the Compact Bible Dictionary in 1988. It has been an excellent resource to help in my Bible study. I am now purchasing 30 copies to give to members of my Sunday School class.
