This extensive collection of 26 step-by-step paper-based craft projects encompasses a vast range of subjects, techniques and materials. Projects include greeting cards, stationery, desk sets and gift bags, to name just a few. There are several techniques to experiment with, all of which are simple in their approach, yet deliver stunning results. Papier mache and 3D decoupage are used to create striking gifts, while stamping and even making your own paper are great ways to embellish and personalize papercraft projects. The book is aimed at anyone interested in papercrafts, looking for original gift and greetings ideas, or simply in search of a new hobby.
This book has information on everything about paper you can think of. It has clear instructions, lot of pictures. It also gives information on how to use things readily available to you to make paper, paper pulp, and paper mache, and the other projects with very little cost. This is a great book for basic information on paper-craft. Almost all the how to's for paper is covered. The only reason I didn't give the book a 5 star is because other than the basics, the majority of the actual projects look a little homemade to me. But I can always change them to make them look more sophisticated.
