Edible wild plants, mushrooms, fruits, and nuts grow along roadsides, amid country fields, and in urban parks. All manner of leafy greens, mushrooms, and herbs that command hefty prices at the market... This description may be from another edition of this product.
As a beginner I was expecting to be shown up close pictures of the important identifying features of each plant. Some pics were good but others were a little blurry, taken from a distance, or there was only one part of the plant shown. On page 47 the first sentence for the kudzu plant it says "My take is that you need no pictures." Sorry miss but I do. There is a pic there but it's just a mess of leaves. The book is a good read. The descriptions seem short but adequate. No bs which I like. Each plant is summed up in a page or 2 and gives good info on when to harvest.
