This book takes the reader on a spiritual journey that is squarely centered on love. For those unfamiliar with the more spiritual side of Islam and with the Sufi tradition within Islam, this is a wonderful starting point. Rumi's meditations and poetry represent the best in the Sufi tradition, and the author has managed to preserve Rumi's poetry through a fluid and easily understood translation into English. Further, the author's introductions to different sections provides a valuable context for appreciating Rumi's original work.

What a pleasant read! I never knew Rumi was so deep and can apply so well to challenges we face today. The author covers how Rumi's works can help overcome stress, lonliness and a loss of focus in life. The book is also so well-written - a very good book for everyone.
