Owning a bed and breakfast inn is no small responsibility; it combines an array of skills: bookkeeping, advertising, and food preparation, just to name a few. I hope to provide in this book; guidelines on how to get started, what it's like to run a B & B, and where and how to advertise. I also want to answer questions such as: what will the guests be like, and what happens once these strangers arrive in your establishment? Wherever possible, I've incorporated short vignettes about my clients as they relate to this information, or as examples to give you an idea of the type of guests and situations you may encounter as an innkeeper.
