I bought this movie after already seeing it once. Watch it alone to decide if the kids should see it . I don't think it will be a spoiler if I say the floggings in the beginning really bothered me and that it might not be appropriate for all viewers. That said, this is an absolutely fabulous adventure movie. I waited for months to get it from a dvd service. Grab it if you can.
