Crazy Larry was a popular weekly comic strip that appeared in the Wheaton College (IL) student newspaper, The Record, from 1998-2001. The strip follows Larry and his sidekick Vick, who provide witty social commentary on the subculture of this evangelical Protestant college. The humor and drawings will make graduates of Wheaton and other Christian colleges chuckle. The original edition, published in 2000, was a limited print run, and sold out in two weeks. This expanded alumni edition includes new strips, additional commentary from the author, and introduces Crazy Larry to the larger Wheaton community for the first time. "Whenever I am anxious about the state of Christendom, I read Crazy Larry and think, "Well, it could be worse." --Dr. Ken Chase, Professor of Communications, Wheaton College "Crazy Larry was in the Record when I was a student. The comic inspired me to avoid Dan Olson like the plague." --Dr. Noah Toly, Director of Urban Studies, Wheaton College
