Beautiful book with great lessons from the eyes of a feline
Published by Wyvern925 , 4 months ago
David Michie writes beautifully from the eyes of a feline with the fortunate position of close observer to many characters in different parts of their Buddhist journey - or not-Buddhist journey. This book teaches basic/intermediate Buddhism through plots viewed by the Dalai Lama's cat, who narrates, and who is a character herself, with her own strengths and weaknesses and her own growth. It is written as a fluid story, not as "this lesson can be seen in this scene" type of book, and in no way preachy. It is wonderfully done and I highly recommend it for animal lovers interested in living in their own form of "loving kindness". I've read the entire series, and all of the books are lovely, though this one is my favorite of them all.
