the deserter should stay lost

The book is 100 pages to long, drags in the middle, and very military which is only of interest to some, the ending also was very disappointing, over all way to wordy,

Great read! But I was disappointed in the ending. I think it needed more work. I feel sad for the decay of Caracas once one of the safest cities in Latin America. DeMille does a excellent job of describing the way the city is today and the dangers. Up to the final page I think it is good no el to read and highly recommended.
