Tall, blonde, rides like fury... the monopolist tells Chisos Owens, the man he wants to hire to hunt her down, and a man whose land he also took in the past. This, to me, doesn't read like it was written in 1944, which is probably why the magazine guys of the time edited his moder modern relationships. A pretty fair tale.
