The Diva Wore Diamonds (No. 7 in the series) Detective Hayden Konig has a great job in the little village of St. Germaine, North Carolina. He also has a loving wife, a fulfilling avocation as a choir... This description may be from another edition of this product.
The Diva Wore Diamonds is simply entertaining. We revisit St. Germaine 18 or 19 months after the events in The Mezzo Wore Mink. Hayden's life and work are going great. In my opinion, even his hard-boiled writing is getting better. As usual, a murder happens in an unusual way on St. Barnabas Day and Hayden solves it with a great deal of help from the usual group of interesting people. We get an excellent dramatic work in Diva called "Elisha and the Two Bears". It is easily as good as "The Pirate Eucharist!" If you cannot picture the munching dance then tell a group of 8 - 10 years old the story of Elisha and the two bears and watch them. You will enjoy yourself or be horrified. If you are reading this series, I suspect you will enjoy yourself. If you have not read this series, start at book 1: The Alto Wore Tweed: A Liturgical Mystery

I don't think he can write a bad book - seeing another one of these available is a treat - and this one was as enjoyable as the ones previous!

Hilarious, as usual. Makes me wonder if our AGO chapter wouldn't have a livelier time of it if we all packed some heat in our organ benches.
better and better

This author just gets better and better with each book. Unlike most authors whose first book is generally the best, The Diva Wore Diamonds is, to me, his best yet. It's just too bad it takes so long to get the next bok out. I need a new one now!
Hilarious

"The Diva Wore Diamonds" is just as hilarious as all the other books in this series by Mark Schweizer. I frequently laugh out loud at the description of events in this humorous mystery story.
