I was given a copy of this book to review and immediately fell in love with the classic feel of this new fairy tale. My children, ages 5 and 8, adore this book and it is one of their favorite bedtime stories.

The Dog Prince is a wonderfully entertaining story with deeply textured illustrations. The story of a vain Prince who is taught humility and purpose is an old concept; Lauren A. Mills breathes new life into the situation with a sly sense of humor. All in all, a delightful tale with a worthwhile message.
