Coming from a college freshman persective I have to say this book is a staple on my book shelf. I recently came down with a bad bug and I followed some of Daphne Oz's tips, and I believe some of the things she said I should do did make me better. I also learned how to eat to make my body healthy, and how it is possible to excersise everyday. I feel great, and I feel the healthiest I have ever been. I owe Daphne a big "Thank You!"

We all know how to drop the pounds. Eat less and move more. It's not rocket science. But Ms. Oz relays information in such a fun and easy way - it makes the whole process so much better! How many times have you fallen asleep reading those boring and dry diet books? Or worse have them cluttering your house collecting dust because you never even finished them! Daphne's tips and tricks for avoiding late night snacking are creative and yummy. Who doesn't love chocolate covered strawberries? I think Daphne Oz really hits her target audience with a diet book that has a lot of important things to say - but is said in a light hearted, stylish way. I think this book will start young adults off on a path of healthful eating habits for a lifetime. Great book!

The Dorm Room Diet has great information in an easily accessible format. In addition to being informative, it's a quick read and is well written, which makes it much more enjoyable than most diet books. Shedding pounds is never easy. But Oz tells you everything you need to know to be healthy on campus - and offers sensible strategies to help you stay on target. The only thing this book doesn't do is actually lose the weight for you. (And if you expect a book to do that...) The Dorm Room Diet gets an A+!!!
