Good Writing Resource

A great resource for writers wanting to convey emotions in their stories.

Incredible Resource!!!!

I saw a recommendation for this book online and I am blown away by how helpful it is!! I knew it was going to be a good resource, and I went into the book understanding that it was going to cover emotional reactions- but I had no idea that the layout would be so easy to navigate, and each emotion is laid out in ways that sparked a whole lot of character development for me!! I am going through the emotions and placing sticky notes with specific scenes and characters that these signs would apply to- Absolutely amazing!!! Each emotion has *Definition of said emotion, *Physical signs, *Internal sensations, *Mental responses, *Cues of Acute or Long-Term [Emotion], *May Escalate to: [Applicable emotions with respective page numbers], *Cues of Suppressed [Emotion], *and a Writer's Tip which have all been very helpful or encouraging/reinforcing of things to consider while writing and developing scenes and characters!!! This is a book I would recommend to every writer, of every skill level- even the pros would do well to have this as a reference to skim through for more depth and better communicated higher stakes.

Emotions everywhere and whenever you need them!

This is a must have for a writer's shelf. If you're like me and need a helping hand for coming up with a quick fix to that character reaction for the scene.
