I gave this book to my niece as a gift. She read it in one weekend and then asked me for the next one. (I hope there are other related books in the works. My niece is already looking forward to them!)

My daughter and I both loved this book! It's definitely a story that all ages will enjoy. I really hope the author is working on other books because I would love to read more of her work. Such a wonderful way with words--she creates such vivid images. This will definitely be on our gift-giving list for my daughters' friends!

My twins had been fighting over this book for a week until I relented and bought a second copy. They usually share very well. Finally, there is peace in the house again, and plenty of role playing as Princess Amelia....

As a teacher, I read a lot of books written for young people, and this has been my favorite of the summer. It's a terrifically engaging story with the perfect mixture of suspense and adventure. I'll be recommending it to my students all year!
