Basic but important information

I think this book reminds and reinforces a lot of basic information that people should already know but tend to not put into practice in the real world. Its a good book, and worth the price for the reminders and the little tips.

Take it from a Wharton grad and fourth generation Wall Streeter - the First Five Minutes is a must-read. Invaluable for both the recent graduate and the "old pro".
A Great Book!

I found this book to be very useful as a college student who will be looking for a job in the business world in the next few years. I found that the author presents the information in a very easy-to-read format, enabling the book to serve as a quick reference guide to various business (and social) settings as needed. I plan to keep the book on the bookshelf in my college dorm room, and I recommend that all do the same! The book is a solid 5-stars and I hope the author chooses to write another book in the near future!
A must-read for everyone in the business world.

From the top down and the bottom up, everyone in the business world can benefit from this book. It is chock full of useful -- indeed, important!-- information, written in an engaging and accessible manner. I found especially helpful the section on making small talk and protocol for business meetings. I am so grateful to Mary Mitchell for her wonderful work. The book will not leave my side; I know I will refer to it again and again in the days, months, even years ahead.
