The first book in a scary new trilogy contributing to a series with more than 8.5 million copies in print. Here begins the terrifying story of a family who moves into the house that even their neighbors on Fear Street are afraid to enter. Twin sisters must learn the secret of the evil or be the next victims.
I read the first, second, and third horrors on a drive to Massaschussets with my family. They were such mind grabbing books. The first book was the best! It's so creepy how she writes in her diary,"dear diary, tonight i died" that was very very creepy. I can be a fast reader at times but sometimes i am slow. But i read the series quickly because they were attention getters!

read the whole trilogy a couple of years ago and when I read it I couldn't stop. These books really frightened me and that is how a good horror book should be! this trilogy is amazingly scary and very good. LOVE IT!

I loved this book when I first read it. IT was wonderful in the sense that it kept you on the edge of your seat. I currently own the entire trilogy of 99 Fear Street. But I could not help to notice how much I have heard this story before. Then it dawned on me. The Amityville Horror. The plots are the same. The types of home are the same. And.....if you look at the house on the cover of the book and at a picture of the Amityville house...you can't help but notice how much they are the same. Overall, I recommend this book to everyone.

I thought that this was a very good book, one of the best Fear Street books I've ever read! If you read all three of these series you know what I'm talking about when I say its a fireier series. Very good story line!

It was agreat book, thats if you like sortof scary books. I thought it was awesome. I thought it was creative of R.L. Stine to have the people die the way he did. I would really suggest the book for more older than younger kids.Well if you decide to read the book and like it, I would suggest reading the sequels.{The Second Horror and The Third horror}.
