Part carousel, part shadow box, this elegant, stand-alone Nativity book, designed by a master paper engineer, reflects all the wonder of Christmas and will be treasured for seasons to come. And the angel said, Behold, thou shalt conceive and bring forth a son, and call his name Jesus. So begins the Nativity tale of The First No l , the classic text from the King James Bible that has been read at Christmastime for hundreds of years. Imagine that age-old story presented in a beautiful novelty book that unfolds to create a traditional carousel, with each spread a snowy-white, cut-paper scene springing out from a background of red. From pop-up artist Jan Pienkowski comes this splendid display of the Christmas story, from the angel's Annunciation to the visit of the Magi -- an innovative, eye-catching addition to any holiday table.
This is such a wonderful book. It not only has a moving story, but becomes a beautiful decoration. I have gotten several of these as gifts for friends and would highly recommend them to anyone for any age.

This book looks more like a piece of art than a pop-up book. The three dimentional cut-work pages are masterfully done.

This is an absolutely incredible book. My parents gave me this book and I loved it. Then one Sunday I used it for the Children's Sermon at church. My phone absolutely rang off the hook with people asking me where they could purchase this book. It is a treasure for adults and children alike!
Absolutely beautiful book...

I loved this book so much I ordered 15 copies to send to my closest family as my Christmas Card. The book opens to reveal 5 lovely silhouette cutouts of the nativity. It opens so completely so that the front and back cover meet together and tie to form a 5 sided star shaped hanging sculpture. Very beautiful! I highly recommend this book. It would make a great table centerpiece as well as hanging decoration. My children were thrilled with our copy.
