Looking for a good book with a spice of comedy, a dash of reality, and whole heaping of good cuisine? Look no further than THE FOOD TEMPTRESS by Rekaya Gibson. New Orleans native Ambrosia was looking for the same thing a lot of young women want but few find; a good man. With the help of her late Nana's recipes she hopes to create the perfect potion to create the perfect man. Will she succeed? I laughed at some of Ambrosia's attempts at creating Mr. Right and her quick wit. I also stole a few of those recipes to see if they'll work on my husband, LOL. On a more serious note, reading about Hurricane Katrina in the final chapter of this book took my mind back in time and my heart goes out to the victims and survivors of that disaster. I recommend this book to readers of all genres and I look forward to more from Ms. Rekaya Gibson. 4 1/2 STARS Linda R. Herman Author of CONSEQUENCES
