I made a few of the recipes in this book and found them all to be very tasty and very easy to make. Bodger explains her subject very well and includes many wonderful tips for making bar cookies. I especially appreciated her practical tips on storing and shipping cookies. I also appreciate the fact that these recipes do not require a lot of expensive spices or other ingredients which may never be used in the kitchen again! Most of the ingredients for these recipes are probably already in the pantry.I'm a visually oriented person, so I missed not having tantalizing pictures of the finished products. But not having them keeps the book affordable and that's fine. Bon apetit!
