I had been searching for this book for over 5 years. I was overjoyed when I found out it was being re-released, and in perfect timing, I just had my first daughter. I look forward to reading and rereading it to her for years to come. The illustrations in this book are magical.

I received this book as a gift when I was about 8 years old. I don't know what happened to the book and I have been searching for another copy for about 10 years so that I can read it to my children. It is definitely among my all time favorite children's book and I am overjoyed that it is back in print. The book emphasizes the importance of family and tradition and it is highly comforting - an excellent bedtime story.
