BOOM-BOOM-BOOM! The noise is coming from the darkest, scariest part of the castle . . . the cellar! As they investigate, the ghosts are frightened by many different things, but they all turn out to be... This description may be from another edition of this product.
I borrowed this book at the local public library and my girl loved it! She counts the candles on the inner sleave of the hardcovers, we count together "1-2-3" and pretend to open the cellar door, she knows how to say "castle crypt" and she gets so excited to see "Aunt Gigi!" It is hiliarious! Grandma could not believe how well she knew each page of the story. After returning the book to the library I had to get it for her and this was the only place I could find it. She got it for xmas and boy was she happy when she opened it.."GHOSTS in the CELLAR, for me!" Worth every penny! *sigh*
AN IMPORTANT LESSON TO LEARN
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 15 years ago
When things go kerplunk in the night, lilliputian specters are there to investigate in this splendidly illustrated tale by Jacques Duquennoy. Once they've gathered their courage and gone into the deep, dark cellar they find that what frightened them is harmless after all. A great lesson for young readers to learn.
