Lots of promise, little follow through.

I love Colony, and thought I would give this a go. The premise of the story was interesting, but it doesn't get anywhere. The timeline is skewed, the end is abrupt, and I don't know. There was something about the story that drew me in, and then it disappointed because none of the story lines really went anywhere. Maybe they aren't supposed to...? There was definitely a dropped in/ripped out of the story feel to it. Lots of abrupt things happen, and some of them are very unbelievable.
