I'm sorry to say that all the excitement and passion of the prior two novels ("The Sacred Quest" and "The Lost Scrolls") do not remain in this last one. Admittedly it's still one of the best books in LDS fiction, but I'm afraid that Heimerdinger manages to get a little hokey in his story telling, so much that it almost boarders on disturbing. This said, this is still the conclusion to one of the best plots in the Tennis Shoes series, and that makes it worth something.
