I have to agree with others on their review of this book, it's too bad it doesn't have a better following. This diet changed my life. I lost about 50 pounds three years ago and have had no trouble keeping it off. Cravings and hunger are a thing of the past. I only wish Mr. Lipetz' web site was created as he mentions--I'd like to learn about more foods that have a low glycemic index. I've also read Naturally Slim and Powerful and The Glycuose Revolution. Mr. Lipetz' Good Calorie Diet was the best.

This really is an incredible book - I am dissapointed that it hasn't recieved more notice and that the author has not set up the web site he discussed. As one reviewer noted the book is confusing but the diet becomes very easy to follow as you go along. If you have had problems with sugar/chocolate cravings and irritability when hungry I highly recommend this book.

While reading this book the first time, I never thought I could follow the diet. The first part of the book can be confusing and overwhelming, but keep reading. I read the book two full times to absorb all the information before starting the diet. I have followed the guidelines nearly perfectly for the last five weeks and have lost 15 pounds. I have never felt hungery and really have not craved all the things that I generally miss on other diets. This is a MUST read! If you are serious about losing weight and other diets have failed, read and follow this one.
Eat as much as you want and the weight stays off - it works!

A diet book based on how much each type of food raises your blood sugar level. The diet works where others have failed due to body's chemistry. It worked for me and many of my friends.
