Great Cookie Cookbook!

I originally borrowed this book amoungst others from the library to make cookies one weekend. I am buying this book! It is jam packed with cookie recipes, it has everyone imaginable. There are 547 pages of cookie baking items. You want drop cookies, it has them, bars, cut-outs, no bake, frostings, glazes, etc. They also include general baking information. The pictures are vivid and colorful and there are a lot of them. The pages are glossy coated so they do not get ruined when I spill melted butter on them. The copy I had was a hard bound book. A MUST HAVE and a great gift for your favorite baker!

This is by far the best cookie cookbook I have ever encountered. The pictures are wonderful, the directions are easy to follow, and the cookies are delicious. Also, there are so many recipes that I can almost always find something to make with the ingredients I have on hand. I have taken several batches of cookies from this book to work and have been given many compliments on them. My husband is also a big fan. Some of our favorite recipes are for "Monkey Bars", "Buffalo Bill Brownies", and "Peanut Butter Crispy Treats". Yum!

For 8 years my husband hasn't been satisfied with my chocolate chip cookies. As soon as I made the chocolate chip oat cookies, that all changed! I got his entire family hooked on them. There are so many great recipes, not just for cookies either. Breads, corn fritters~called corn oysters in the book, pastries etc. I'm a frequent cookie maker and adore this book. They also teach you how to make Lebkuchen! Awesome book!

This is the ultimate cookbook if you like to bake. There are about 600 pages with recipes for cookies, bars, and brownies. All recipes are very easy to follow and contain ordinary ingrediants that you already have in your kitchen. The book not only has wonderful recipes, but the book itself is beautiful.
