Great movie!

Based on a true story, this movie is well written & well acted. It's about a Christian based college(which was a very fine one for real)& had top notch professors(not all Christians)who were extraordinary teachers & the curriculum was high level education with expectations of the students to match. Deep in the DEMOCRAT Jim Crow South, it delves into the tribulations of being black in the era & part of the country; you got along fine IF you knew your place. It also looks at the beginnings of associations of farmers, etc. in which blacks & whites united, but in secret to avoid persecution from local govt(under the thumb of big boss types who would lose control over prices, etc if farmers united.) You'll recognize some of the characters from real life. It is a superbly well done movie, DenzelWashington starred & directed. It has a great ending at Harvard & GeorgeFarmer(who was only 15 at the time) starts his rebuttal in the debate with "They lynch negroes in Texas" as the debate team had witnessed one night traveling to a debate by happenstance; encountering an angry "MOB" & barely escaped. This is a very good movie & a good look into who the lynchers, racists, oppressors, etc really were....the Democrat party.
