I found the book difficult to put down. I read it in just a few days, and must go back and re-read it. It's not easy to live the kind of life that Sister Dorothy Stang embraced: a life of self-sacrifice, of laying down her life for the poorest of the poor, as was her desire to serve. I would heartily recommend this book, it is life changing. Few of us can follow such a sacrificial calling, which embodies a love for the earth, its people, as well as a love for God.
